I was born in the Panama Canal Zone, went to grade school in Des Moines, Iowa, and high school in Ottawa, Canada. I graduated from Drake University with a BA in English. After a short stint in the Bahamas, I moved to Florida in 1996. In 2004, after massage school, I sold my house, bought a sailboat, moved on to it, then moved to Key West. I finally found the job and the town I love. I am grateful every day to live in paradise and have such great clients.
Some of the more interesting careers I had along the way include: Taxi cab driver, over-the-road truck driver, letter carrier, disaster housing inspector, restaurant server, and chauffeur to name a few. I have worked for Marriott, FedEx, Amnesty International, Exxon-Mobil, Club Med, FEMA, US Postal Service, and many lesser-known companies.
I like what I do now, so I intend to take it further and see where it takes me.
